Minna Kokko's exhibition "In between" in France 15th June 2010 The Finnish photographer Minna Kokko exposes her latest work in Galerie de Mézières in Eaubonne, France, from June 15th to 20th 2010. The exhibition is about interaction between two different cultures and cultural identity. The works have been realised by Mood Works, on brushed Dibond and Photo Print Dibond. New Three-part Artwork from Ray of Lights by Johanna Aalto 16th March 2010 March, April and May were inspired by the changing seasons – as this year we have enjoyed winter weather also in southern Finland. One glaring bright day I looked how sun reflected from snowdrifts and I thought about coming spring and summer. This positive experience was simplified to illustrated form in my three-part artwork. New in Mood Images collection, Pia Holm 8th February 2010 "Gem" belongs to a pattern collection inspired by gardening. Each pattern stems from the viewer’s experience of a lush summer garden. In this work, sand and pebbles on a garden path become glittering gems. Other patterns include Tale, Swing and Haven. New in Mood Images collection, Pekka Nikrus. 1st February 2010 Light series is nature’s and light’s simplifying true multi expose. Familiar shapes melt together and give space for bright light. New details and colours can be found every time you look the photos again. Effervescence series shows the play of lights and colours in the city. Idea for this series game from the thought of how short sighted person without eyeglasses sees everyday city environment in totally different way. Mood at Stockholm Furniture Fair 14th January 2010 Mood is participating in the Stockholm Furniture Fair 2010 at Stockholm fair center from 9th till 13th February. Welcome! www.lasipalatsi.fi Mood Acoustic Concept in Welfare Classroom Project 27th August 2009 During autumn 2009 a pilot project in a classroom at Siltamäki primary school is conducted based on the Stress free area® concept. The objective is to design a classroom that consist of minimal amount of objects that give negative sense stimulus and also supports pupil concentration and activity during the learning progress. Other partners are Ecophon Oy, Martela Oyj, KT Interior Oy and Orient Occident Oy. Helsinki University it taking care of the pilot study that is a part of the project CICERO Learning that is a national study networks for learning. The study reports will be published for training and design professionals during the spring 2010 nationally and internationally. Mood at Habitare 09 fair 18th August 2009 Mood is participating in the Habitare 09 trade fair at the Ahead! Design area in Helsinki fair centre. Mood will introduce the Mood Acoustic concept. Welcome and visit our stand! ”Window to Dreams” – Photographs by Minna Kokko at Virka Gallery 8-27 July 2009 7 July 2009 This July, Virka Gallery’s bijous corner exhibition space at Helsinki’s City Hall will be hosting a display of photographs by Minna Kokko. The moving images, described as ”dream windows” by the Paris-based, Finnish-born artist. The photographs featured in this exhibition are printed on brushed Dibond, as devised by the Finnish company Mood.
